Rx. et Rz. Rhei Da Huang 6g Clears Heat, resolves accumulations, transforms Dampness, promotes urination, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Yin Chen Hao, for early-Stage Damp-Heat Jaundice when Heat is stronger than Dampness.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Huang Qin, restores the normal functioning of the Liver and Gallbladder.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation and vertigo, dizziness and thoracic and costal pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 9g Breaks up Stagnant Qi, reduces accumulation, descends Qi, unblocks the bowels, removes stagnant Food, transforms Phlegm, reduces distention and resolves hardenings.
With Da Huang, for constipation and abdominal swelling due to Food and Qi Stagnation and diarrhea, dysentery and abdominal pain due to Damp-Heat.
With Da Huang and Huang Qin, for dysenteric diarrhea with tenesmus due to Damp-Heat, especially due to Food Stagnation transforming into Damp-Heat.
with Bai Shao, for abdominal pain due to Qi and Blood Stagnation.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 9g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, calms ascending Liver Yang and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Da Huang, for constipation.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 15g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, softens the Liver, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and relieves pain.
With Gan Cao, regulates the relationship between the Liver and Spleen and nourishes the sinews.
With Chai Hu, for flank pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Sm. Persicae Tao Ren 9g Breaks up Blood Stasis, invigorates Blood circulation and drains abscesses.
With Da Huang, for severe abdominal infections.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, speeds healing of chronic sores, alleviates pain, benefits the Gallbladder and reduces jaundice.
With Chai Hu, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation with flank pain and distention, dysmenorrhea and irregular menstruation.
Eupolyphaga/Steleophaga Tu Bie Chong 6g Breaks up and drives out Blood Stasis, invigorates Blood circulation, disperses lumps and masses and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Da Huang, breaks up fixed abdominal masses from Blood Stasis.
With Da Huang and Tao Ren, for abdominal pain due to Blood Stasis.
Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang 6g Promotes the movement of Qi, alleviates pain, dispels Damp-Heat and harmonizes the Liver and Spleen.
With Chai Hu, Yin Chen Hao and Yu Jin, for Damp-Heat causing flank pain and distention and a bitter taste in the mouth.
With Bai Shao, for diarrhea with profuse pus and Blood.
